This is what the sketches for my personal comics look like. I can’t believe I’m not working for Marvel yet.
This isn’t a legit thing (yet), I’m doing this because I felt I should have some recent examples of comicings for things I’m applying for. So I sketched out this mockup scenario that I’ll finish and polish featuring Maire, Dadu, Swordgirl, Notangra and Cail (I swear they all have actual names now too though!). Maire is in there mostly just because I’m comfortable with drawing her and didn’t want to put in a random new filler character.

I’ve been kind of working out something that involves the four others though. Maire would fit right in. Crap. I’ll probably change my mind about them again soon~ (this would be Cail and Notangra’s 4th scenario change XD)

Aveline, to match Fenris & Merrill’s toes and Isabela’s booty. I’m going to have to muster up some courage before I tackle the colors for this because Aveline won the ‘detailed costume’ lottery during development ._.

Proof that I’m still working on it! I actually had today set aside to get a good chunk of this done, but then the cat decided to discriminate against Ro’s friend’s facial hair and hissing and growling at him so now she’s in here with me so I can babysit her and I have to shoo her away from something every 5 minutes. I am so not ready for children yet, just a cat being a cat is making me tear my hair out right now.

That got off track. Anyway! Painty sexytimes! And my onscreen keyboard!

I have time and energy to draw today :DDD We only have to pick up 5 more packets of flooring because we didn’t have enough but we won’t be laying it until tomorrow! And I don’t feel like sleeping at all! I want to draw everything, aaaa! *eyes submission/ask-to-do list* *weeps*

Here’s a close-up of my silly warm up sketchy for today. The great thing about drawing generic faces with minor alterations (aka: same face syndrome) is that you aren’t able to tell who this is when I crop off the hair mwahaha! It’s from my list though…

Logically, the next step was Varric in Hugh Hefner attire.

This is kind of a wip, seeing as I got pretty bored with it after a while and left stuff unfinished.

Derping around on livestream with this some more here after a healthy meal of eggsaladsandwiches. (I am an adult and eat super healthily)

It’s because of this gal’s face XD I knew the anatomy was totally off (her neck is basically broken in the left version), but painting over all of it to fix it seemed rather daunting… So I’ve been putting it off. Today I finally bit the bullet though, and fixed what I could. It looks a lot better now I think, and I might just be able to finish it this weekend :D (please don’t quote me on that, I’ve just gained a renewed interest in WoW…) After that, I WILL STILL DRAW YOU PEEPS THOSE OTHER PICS.
I keep my promises, even if I’m slow as fuuuck. ♥

I’m liking the sketchy b/w thing I’ve been doing lately, it’s a lot of fun to do (and fast! o_o), so I’m just going to adopt that style into Witchprince. Only 3 real pages in anyway (I’M THE BEST UPDATER EVER), so stylechanges aren’t much of a big deal right now. And it’s not like I’m planning to put it out on print or anything XD
I’d have to go to cons to try and sell it (which are few and only anime/manga/japan-centric in the Netherlands) and market myself and… meet people *shudders* No thanks, I’ll just keep derping around on the internet for the fun of it :D
